May is the month to celebrate your pet!

Our pets bring companionship and joy to our lives. Three out of four consider their pet to be apart of family. Up to 75% of pet owners consider their pets to be loyal companions. Many consider taking their pet on vacation with them and even say that their pet particapates in family activities with them. Female pet owners have a very strong bond with their pet and say that they spend more time with the dog or cat than they do with their spouse.

National Pet Month is a good time to educate yourself about your pet's health and well-being. May's National Pet Month should be a time to increase the pet owner's awareness of pet health issues and quality of care for their pets. Reward your pet's  loyal companionship by taking good care of them and educating yourself on important issues related to their health and care.
